What is the 67 minutes for Nelson Mandela?

Mandela Day is held in honour of South Africa’s icon, Nelson Mandela, who fought for social justice for 67 years. Every year on his birthday on the 18 July, we are asked to commit just 67 minutes of our time to giving back to our community.

Why celebrate Mandela Day 2021 with Ladles of Love?

We are asking you, our Love Activists in Cape Town to give 67 minutes of your time with Ladles of Love.

This Mandela Day 2021 record breaking attempt will beat the current Guinness World record for the world’s longest line of food cans which will all be donated to the needy. Your support via can donations, funds and volunteering will make this feat possible.

The target is to raise a total of 90 000 food cans to beat the current world record!
