Realise A Dream

The Ladles of Love Young Food Entrepreneur Competition

We are looking to grow the businesses of 3 lucky chefs or food artisans with our first ever young food entrepreneur competition!

In celebration of Youth Day on 16 June in South Africa, Ladles of Love in will be hosting the Realise A Dream competition between now and 16 June 2021.

The youth unemployment statistics in South Africa are at an all-time high and the impact it has on our young people is devastating.  As we look forward to celebrating Youth Day – we acknowledge just how tough it is for young people, when no amount of talent and skills can get you a job or way to provide for your family with dignity.

Imagine the positive outcomes of supporting local entrepreneurs in this way –  by investing and empowering young Cape Town chefs and food artisans to start their own enterprises while creating jobs and local food supply.

The Final RAD Event will take place at 10 am on 16 June in celebration of South Africa’s Youth Day at Makers Landing at the V&A Waterfront. You are welcome to join us at the event or via Live Streaming across our social media platforms.
